Spring Feels Like Coming Back to Life!!

Spring Feels Like Coming Back to Life!!

After a long winter, everything starts to wake up again—the roads, the bikes, the shop… and honestly, us too. It’s that shift in energy you can feel the second you walk through the doors. More movement, more conversations, more life.

And we’ve been craving that.

Starting April 9th, we’re stepping into our spring hours—Thursdays from 5–8 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 11–7. Those Thursday nights are something special already. They feel slower, more intentional… like a chance to actually connect instead of just pass through.

We’re still offering appointments and curated shopping experiences too, because sometimes you just want space to take it all in, ask questions, and find something that really feels like you.

The Jamboree Bike Show – May 30th

This one means a lot to us.

The Jamboree Bike Show isn’t just something we’re putting on—it’s something we care deeply about getting right. We want it to feel welcoming, inspiring, and real. The kind of event where you don’t feel out of place the second you show up.

It’s about the bikes, of course—but it’s also about the people behind them. The stories, the late nights, the hands that built them, and the miles they’ve carried.

It doesn’t matter if your bike is perfectly polished or a little rough around the edges. Sometimes those are the ones with the most heart.

We’re bringing together builders, riders, and shops that genuinely love what they do—and we can’t wait to share that with you.

For now, just hold onto the date:

May 30th.

What This Season Means to Me

Behind Bars has always been more than a shop to me.

It’s a space I’ve poured myself into—something I’ve wanted to feel warm, welcoming, and a little different from the start. Not intimidating. Not exclusive. Just… real.

Spring feels like a chance to open that up even more.

More time together.
More familiar faces.
More new ones too.
More moments that remind us why we started this in the first place.

If you’ve been thinking about stopping in, I hope you do.

We’d love to see you.

Vicki and I both will be there. She will try her luck in the show.
